Vendor Pro application: How it works
1. Create a Vendor Pro account
The first step is to apply to be a service provider (Vendor Pro) for an account on our site. We ask for basic information such as your name, cell phone, store name, and address. Please note that the store URL will auto-generate after you type in your store name. This should take you less than 5 minutes.
2. We receive your application
After you apply, we will receive your application. Please allow a couple of days for us to send you a follow-up email with more information needed from you. We will need information such as your ID copy, proof of residence, and a fee to run background checks.
Please note that your application cannot be approved until all documents are received and reviewed by us.
3. You submit all the additional documents required
Once you receive an email from us requiring the additional documents, information, and R350 background check fee, you need to submit those documents and information and make payment for this fee. Only services requiring you to work at a customer’s premises (e.g. cleaning, furniture assembly, painting) or deliver services to a customer’s premises (e.g. delivery of medicine, au pair) need a background check. Please note that this fee is non-refundable. You will get the background check results.
4. We approve your application
Once we receive all the relevant documents and you are cleared of your criminal background check (if applicable), we approve you. Then you can start offering your services that customers can book.
